Celebrating the arts culture of Charlotte and raising over $1,000 for HopeWay
Charlotte, NC May 9, 2023: At a packed house in NoDa, the arts and business communities of Charlotte came together to celebrate the latest short film from Spiracle Films. Over a few great beers from NoDa Brewing the invited guests visited local artist stands and got a sneak peek of SATURATED, a film featuring Matt Moore, easily the Queen City’s most sought after muralist.
“The energy in the room, of the premiere event, was filled with love and support. This is so important while being vulnerable in not only sharing our work with others but telling someone else’s story. It was a huge success, and we are excited to share more stories, while making a difference in our community by doing so,” said Morgan Paterwich, Head of Production for Spiracle Films.
Spiracle partnered with HopeWay during the event to help shine a light on mental health issues that face the arts community. HopeWay is a local nonprofit that provides best practice behavioral health care and education for adults and their families.
Proceeds from the tickets, beer sales and donations from the guests throughout the event totaled over $1,000 for HopeWay to continue their great work in the field of mental health.
Morgan Liles, Marketing Communications Manager at HopeWay explains the impact of this donation from the event – “The money raised will support HopeWay’s mission of excellence in mental health care and community education while increasing access to quality treatment through financial assistance. As a non-profit, donations are critical and we are grateful for Spiracle’s support through this event and the awareness they brought to the topic of mental wellness.”
